Tony this is a picture of Lee Stovall Telitha (dads sister) and their daughter Mary Ann. Lee was a baptist preacher this is the first picture i have seen of him.

That's a Maypop vine next to them and it looks like they are holding the flowers. The Cherokee used to grow them for the fruit.

My great grandfather's name was Thomas McQueen. He had a sister named Debbie and they were orphaned. They had lived somewhere around the Big Hill area of Madison county. Their parents died and both Thomas and Debbie had come to Jackson County. I don't recall them being adopted by anyone but did live with Jimmy Davis and his family. My Dad has a picture of my g. grandfather and Debbie with the Davis family. The really odd thing is my Dad and mom now owns the farm that Jimmy Davis and his family use to live on when my g. grandfather had lived there.
