It is Cy (Henry Cyrenus Davis, his wife, Martha, his son, Albert Davis (Nannie Davis' husband ) and Laurie Davis Truett (Vernon Truett's Mom.

Cy and Martha are my Grandma's parents. My grandma is Nannie Davis Allen. Albert is her brother, and Laurie is her youngest sister.

Mary Cook Purkey's father is G.W. Cook. His mother and her mother is Martha Melvina Royston. G.W. Cook's dad is Michael Cook and his mother is Mary Radar cook, if I am correct.

Yes, that is the same information that I have. I also have a copy of some papers from G.W. Cook about his remedies for all kinds of illness that he used when treating people. It is very interesting. I got it from some of our Purkey relativies here in Jackson County.

This is the Purkey family. The lady on the front row going from L to R is my great grandmother Susan Purkey McQueen and I recognize several of her sisters in the picture. Not sure who some of the others might be. Love this picture and I haven't seen this one. Would love to have a copy.

There was 12 children in the family of Chesley and Mary. Here are the names. Martha, Sarah, Orlena, George, John, Telitha,Green, Levi, William, Melvina, Susan, and Evangeline(Eva).

I recognized Viney McQueen, Wesley Morgan and Susie McQueen. Do any of you remember the wooden horse that Susie had on her front porch? I used to go with my grandma (susie's neice) to visit, and I loved to "ride" that horse.

Susie is my great grandmother and I know the wooden horse very well. It was my favorite thing about going to Grandma McQueen's house. There has been many children's pictures taken sitting on the horse including mine when I was about 2.

The one on the far right is Vina. We called her Viney. Went to church with her when I was a child at Bond. She is in one of my wedding pictures taken there.

Sue Huff sold the cabin to some people at McKinley Bottoms in Russell County. We would have bought it if we had known it was for sale. Mary Cook Purkey was a daughter of Dr. GW Cook.

Arch (A.F.) was Albert Baldwin's Father. (Alfred, Litha, Bertha, Datha, Arch,Willie, Martha and Albert (I think thats the way they pictured)
