Mary HillardJim said this looks like the house but everything around it looks different. When we got married you were living in London. That was in 1963.
November 5, 2011 at 9:01 pm
Tony DavisYes. I only lived there about a year.
November 5, 2011 at 9:22 pm
Tony DavisThis was taken when Dorsey Davis and I traveled back to the family reunion back in the 80's.
November 5, 2011 at 9:24 pm
Dorsey DavisLots of memories from that place, Tony. Your dad's workshop was always a place of wonder and your mom's cooking was to be relished by any hungry boy. Uncle Sam's stories were enchanting and having cousins to play with was a seldom experienced event that made the visit to Uncle Calvin's special. Come down sometime when you have some vacation time and we will go exploring again.
November 5, 2011 at 9:37 pm
Tony DavisI'll hold you to it. I had a good time the last time.

November 5, 2011 at 11:28 pm
This is not how it is done, the first try, and I didn't release enough rope so I swung back into the skid of the Helecopter. The only way to get me loose was to lower the helecopter close enough to the ground that my hands could be pulled loose fromn the skid. LOL

I remember that house! I had a first cousin who lived there and would come over and visit and help with woodworking projects. He taught me how to put down a hardwood floor and that was before we had air hammers to do the hard stuff!
