She is very pretty. She looks like Mrs. Hillard. We called them Uncle Tom and Nicey Mae Hillard. They were wonderful neighbors. Tom would help Daddy. One evening he said it was bedtime at 7.

Uncle Charlie's girls Erma and Alma used to come to all the Davis reunions. They were not able to come to the last one. We all missed them.

I'm hoping to have a large display next year with the tree mapped out and a copy of the book of our history. I'm hoping we get a large turn out so we can collect enough old photos and information for an revision to the book. Something we can leave the kids to remember us by. LOL if they want to remember.....

My Dad's parents and my grandparents; Ellen Steele Hacker & Jack (Jackson) Hacker as they stand before Dad's childhood home that stand yet today on Moore's Creek. I was very young when grandpa Jack died, so I have only limited memory of him. Thanks for the post of their happy days.

I had written the names on the back... it was in script so it was later than first grade for sure. I just couldn't figure out what "Doward" was... my sister Delphine realized the Banks was "Darrell". And we think young people today can't spell! I thought I could back then! :)
