January 8, 2012 at 12:09 am
Uh...That ain't me?
January 8, 2012 at 11:08 am
Anyone know the little girl on the right?
January 8, 2012 at 1:53 pm
The tag for Robby Gaines should be Ricky Gaines.
January 8, 2012 at 3:14 pm
That makes more sense.
January 8, 2012 at 5:01 pm
I don't appear in this photo unless that is me with my back partially turned behind Joyce Davis. I believe that is Ernest Davis behind Helen and Joyce Gaines. I think the person behind Joyce Miller is Marvin Davis but I could be wrong. I don't remember what James Miller looked like at that age!
January 10, 2012 at 11:58 pm
I was sure that was you behind Joyce, facing away.
January 11, 2012 at 1:31 am
I think it is a crock that I am not in this picture! Ohhhhh sure Robbie and Terri Lynn get to be in it but not me!
January 11, 2012 at 3:48 pm
I'm not in it, but got accused of it anyways.
January 11, 2012 at 3:50 pm
That is you in the front row drinking.
January 11, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Ricky would have been older than that. Great now Robby has a twin and didn't even know it.
January 11, 2012 at 3:57 pm
No it ain't. I never had a shirt like that and I NEVER wore shorts.
January 11, 2012 at 6:39 pm
Who is the little blonde?
January 11, 2012 at 6:58 pm
I have no idea. Unless she is one of he neighbors kids that just happened to smell food and moseyed on over to check it out. Or am I the only one that does things like thal.
January 11, 2012 at 8:09 pm
Maby that is malinda, Do you recon over the years the Ink may have faded and the dark red may have changed to a light yellow. Best I remember she WAS a cute little girl at that age.
January 11, 2012 at 8:14 pm
I think that is Robbie too. He is standing in front of Joyce, and look at all those pretty dark curls. He still has those but he has forgotten the shirt long ago,
January 11, 2012 at 8:26 pm
I think that's Ricky.
January 11, 2012 at 8:30 pm
This was around 1978 or 80. Ricky would have been 15ish.
January 11, 2012 at 11:32 pm
WOW.. He's awful short for 15 years old. LOL
January 11, 2012 at 11:34 pm
I was born in '77, I don't think I woulda been that big yet? And I never wore shorts.
January 12, 2012 at 1:13 am
ok folks.. in the back is daddy dean and jim...robby is the little in shorts he didnt like to wear and in a shirt he wishes he wasnt wearing...there is a really cute dark hair girl ya cant really see in front of mother ( next to Melinda Miller Cagliuso)..thats me...and the little blonde would be one of brenda...looking at the age i would say it is heather....that should help some....and i think mother another pic with robby in shorts....
January 13, 2012 at 9:12 pm

January 14, 2012 at 11:41 am
They must've let all the good kids go play somewhere else...had to keep the trouble makers (Melanie) and the youngest uns (Robbie) close by.
January 14, 2012 at 2:47 pm

January 14, 2012 at 9:37 pm
Mom has never been late for anything!
January 15, 2012 at 1:01 pm

January 8, 2012 at 3:42 pm
Homer, Aunt Nannie, Lorene, Johnney, Bill & Bobby (Not sure which one is which) Maybe Erma Dean could help us out on this.
January 8, 2012 at 4:39 pm
Was Bobby the youngest ? Homer was the only one I can remember meeting !
January 8, 2012 at 7:39 pm
Homer was the oldest born 1919, Pauline born 1923 (she died at 12 years of age - burried at Green Hill) Lorene born 1926, Bobby born 1929 (He is deceased) Billy Ray born 1933 also deceased Feb. 1993, Johnney born 1940.

January 8, 2012 at 12:08 am
This is Ray's father. Ray was my classmate all the way from first grade until high school graduation. It was so sad that he died so young. He was such a nice person. Was he your mom's brother?
April 27, 2012 at 6:11 pm
Yes, I remember him well. He married Shirley and they lived in Lexington.
April 27, 2012 at 6:13 pm
They use to be our neighbors and I always liked his carved walking canes.
April 27, 2012 at 6:17 pm
I may have some photos of Ray from high school reunions. I really need to scan some.....
April 27, 2012 at 6:26 pm
There is one of his graduation somewhere in my photos on my Facebook page, with Grandma Hillard.
April 27, 2012 at 6:43 pm

April 27, 2012 at 7:32 pm
I will look for it....Thanks.
April 27, 2012 at 7:36 pm
My parents called him Uncle Tom. He was a neighbor that would help Daddy with projects.
April 27, 2012 at 7:52 pm
Thank you so much for posting this Tony! My dad kept one of those canes and now I have it. It's priceless for me to be able to see my great grandfather like this.
July 13, 2012 at 1:04 pm
You are welcome. I have one also, and this is how I remember him. He rolled cigarette'a from Prince Albert in a can, and would sit and carve for hours.
