Tony, how was Dad identified in this photo. He was never in the military so I doubt that he would have put on the uniform of someone else. Could this be your Dad? They looked amazingly alike at that age.

Also being in the company of Oval Hillard and George Allen would tend to associate the person with your Mom and Dad's family.

It is written on the back of the photo very Clearly and dated February 1943. I'm sorry for any confusion. I'll see if I can find out who it was.

Anything is possible, Tony. The person does look somewhat like my dad. It would have been out of character I think for most young men to dress up in the uniform of someone else during the war, especially if they were not actually in the military. Dad would have been 17 years old in 1943 and to me this person looks older than that. That said, military uniforms have a way of doing that to a person.

Hard to say. but anything is possible. He may have been just seeing what it was lke, or it may not be him.

I remember George Allen. His mother Nannie Davis Allen and any child of Wesley and Telitha Cook Davis were second cousins.

Tony, this was Ma Hacker's two sisters. My parents bought the house where my mom still lives from Lile and her husband, Nacy Morris. I'll post a picture of the house on my page. It was built in 1889. I live right up the little country lane above her. It's a long way from a Metro station. Haha. I tagged Bj and some of my cousins.

My Guess would be Ernest (Wes's son) he would be about hat age when Lowana was that size. And he looks like one of Wes's kids. LOL
