Louise Ramsey ChaneyAccording to the date, isn't this Richard Hocker and his wife (I can't recall her name), and their daughter, Josephene? Marvin would have been born approx 1939. They visited my grandmother when they were in a revival in Jackson County, KY in early 1940's and a certain picture shows that Marvin was a little older than me. Interesting! And I am almost dating myself. I looked like about 2 or 3 yrs old at that time.

Tony DavisI tagged Marvin because he is my friend on facebook, but this should be his parents. Marvin has long been a family friend, and I have always considered him to be my "home" pastor, since he is the Pastor of the Church in Camden, OH. He preached my Father's funeral and told of how my Dad had wired his house. He is very special to our family. My brother Wendell hangs out with him all the time. They garden together.

Louise Ramsey ChaneyI should say too, that the Hocker Family were favorites that we used to go to hear them preach and sing when they were in our area at the Somerville church and a Hamilton church, both in Ohio. And I think Marvin was the pastor in Oregonia, Ohio where my brother and sister-in-law attended church. So I always thought they were all very special.

Dorsey DavisI spent many an hour as a small boy listening to Brother Hocker preach. He visited our home regularly when in the Connersville, IN area. My dad built the little camper for the back of his pickup truck that he traveled around in a lot in the 60's. Sorry that I never got to know Marvin or Josephine. Marvin is on my friends list but I doubt that he has any idea of who I am.

Don DavidsonI knew the hocker family since I was a small boy and went to school with marvin Hocker at annville Institute. marvin was on of the best shooting guards that I had ever seen at that time. He made a shot from half court If my memory serves me right against Odenia and gave annville the regional championship I'm sure he could fill in the details.
